OnePlus provides built-in call recording feature in Oxygen OS. But this feature is not available to all users as it is enabled based on user region.
So if a feature is available in OS then there must be some way to enable it using external sources. One obvious method is through rooting. But rooting your phone isn’t safe.
So, here we are going to tell you a simple trick using which you can enable Built-In call recording on any OnePlus phone without Rooting your phone.
Just follow following steps:
Note: To execute these steps, you should have a little understanding of technical stuff. But its not tough. You can learn it easily.
1) Install jOnePlus Tools from Play Store:

Once installed Enable USB Debugging option on your device. (How to Enable USB debugging)
2) Then connect your phone with computer and run following adb (How to Install adb) command to let the app change security settings, enabling it to turn call recorder on after reboot:
adb shell pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
3) Open JOnePlus Tools app and enable the Call Recorder option and Call Recorder service option
Now, Do these steps to enable Call Recording from the dialer App of your phone:
- Open dialer app and tap on 3 dot menu
- Select Settings option.
- Tap ‘Call Record’ Option. turn this option on using the toggle button.
- Now you will see ‘Calls auto-recording’ just below Call Recording option. You can opt for it if you want your calls to get automatically recorded.
- You can manually turn on/off Call Recording from the call screen as well.
