Design of OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8:
OnePlus Nord has an aluminum chassis and a rear glass. It has a camera on the top left corner. It has a slider too. Its weight is 184g. It does not have any IP rating. It can measure 158.3×73.3 ×8.2mm.
On the other hand, OnePlus 8 also has an aluminum chassis with rear glass and its front display is curved. Its IP rating is greater than OnePlus Nord. OnePlus 8 is greater in size then OnePlus Nord.
Display of OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8:
OnePlus Nord has a 6.44 inches display with a Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. And has a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.
The refresh rate of 90Hz was expected as Carl Pei has stated on the launch of OnePlus 7T that the company will launch a device with a smoother refresh rate.
OnePlus 8 is slightly larger then OnePlus Nord. Is has a 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED display and offers the same pixel’s resolution.
Camera comparison of OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8:
OnePlus Nord has a quad camera with a main, ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensor. Its front camera is 32MP.
One the other hand, OnePlus 8 is a triple camera with a main, ultra-wide, and macro sensor. It has a 16MP front camera.
OnePlus Nord has a dual front camera with a 32MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
Hardware comparison of OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8:
OnePlus Nord has a powerful Snapdragon 765G processor. It is available in two variations of 8/12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.
It has a fingerprint and 4000mAH battery but is not wireless.
While OnePlus 8 has Snapdragon 865G processor. And like OnePlus Nord it is also available in variations of 8GB and 12GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of storage.
It also has a fingerprint sensor like OnePlus Nord and has a slightly larger battery of 4300mAH.
Conclusion of differences:
OnePlus Nord offers a little sharper display than 8. Both devices have the same RAM and storage options. But OnePlus has a smaller battery than 8. But it has a powerful chipset and also an extra camera.
